Paul Onorato
Paul Onorato
Born and working from Lakewood, Colorado, Paul Onorato (b. 1998) is a multidisciplinary artist who works a variety of process based 2D mediums as a means to understand the social dynamics between technology and cultural systems. The diversity of peoples, hobbies, and interests in Colorado and in the broader United States, matched with the growing presence and dependability of technology, informs and inspires the themes in his art: such as addiction, collective identity, and the environment.
Working in a detailed, meditative fashion; these 2D mediums offer an avenue to analyze and reframe the complexities of our individual and collective culture. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor in Fine Arts at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, expected to graduate in December of 2023. Whether altering the perception of environment and culture, inspiring other creatives, or helping to create positive change in the communal pockets of his own life; he will continue to make art passionately and with an engagement to learning.
